I qualified as a counsellor in 1998, after three years of intensive training, which focused greatly on personal development, and the importance of offering all clients the core conditions of therapy – Unconditional Positive Regard, Empathy & Congruence. Since qualifying I have been a member of BACP – The British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists, and abide by their Code of Ethics.
I qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist in 2005, receiving a diploma in Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, Psychology & Psychotherapy with the prestigious National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy who have been training ethical hypnotherapists and psychotherapists since 1977. They are regularly recommended in various publications as being one of the most reputable organisations in the field.
I’ve received further training and qualifications in Master Hypnotherapy Skills, Therapeutic Hypnosis, Life Coaching, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), RTT (Rapid Transformational Therapy), Relationship Counselling and Stress & Anxiety Management. I also have many years of life experience, and am happy to say that although some of those experiences were very painful and difficult at the time, I’ve learned and grown from them and become stronger and wiser.
